In-Person Therapy and Counseling in Washington, DC, Rosslyn & Arlington, VA

Dedicated spaces in downtown DC and Rosslyn (Arlington) for therapy, counseling, coaching, and 8-week intensives.

Virtual sessions offer great convenience, but stepping out of your daily routine into a physical room creates a clear boundary between your workday demands and your personal growth. Located on K Street in downtown DC and in Rosslyn, Arlington—just across Key Bridge—I offer quiet, face-to-face environments to focus on what you're carrying, whether you need weekly support, targeted coaching, or a focused 8-week intensive.

Downtown DC Sanctuary & Nature-Filled Rosslyn Office

Having two distinct office spaces allows you to choose the setting that best supports your nervous system, commuting route, and schedule:

  • The Downtown DC Office (1627 K St NW, Washington, DC): Located right next to centrally located Farragut Square, this modern high-rise office offers a quiet vantage point looking down over the city below. It provides an accessible downtown location to step away for care during a busy workday in the District.
  • The Rosslyn, Arlington Office (1501 Langston Blvd, Arlington, VA): Situated right in Rosslyn off the Rosslyn Metro stop and minutes from Georgetown and downtown DC, this office sits next to a quiet forest ravine. Windowed walls allow natural light to fill the room, offering views of surrounding trees and wildlife. Sitting here feels less like a traditional clinical office and more like talking with a trusted professional in a quiet forest setting.

A Full Suite of In-Person Services

Different seasons call for different types of care. Meeting in person allows us to adapt our work together using several structured formats:

  • In-Person Psychotherapy & Counseling: Ongoing weekly or bi-weekly sessions designed for steady processing, relational support, and exploring long-standing patterns at a reflective pace.
  • 8-Week Psychotherapy Intensives: A structured, short-term container for clients who want to zero in on a specific issue—such as burnout, targeted trauma, or major life shifts—without weekly delays. (This is where somatic processing is introduced).
  • Wellness & Stress Coaching: Forward-focused coaching for leaders, professionals, and caregivers looking to build sustainable daily routines, manage high-functioning stress, and set clear boundaries.

Grounded Clinical Care

With 25 years of experience in psychology, my core approach is rooted in behavioral psychology. When we meet face-to-face, we use that foundation while drawing from a variety of supportive clinical tools based on what you need in the room:

  • Behavioral Psychology & CBT: Grounded in classical behaviorism and an advanced master's-level study of behavior change, we focus on identifying thought loops, understanding how habits are formed, and implementing practical strategies for lasting change.
  • Brainspotting & Bilateral Music: Utilizing visual focal points and specialized auditory setups in the room to help process stress and trauma deeply.
  • IFS-Informed Care & Parts Mapping: Using conversational and creative tools to better understand different internal "parts"—like the inner critic, the over-worker, or the overwhelmed self.
  • Creative Arts & Habit Development: Incorporating simple visual tools and practical behavior change models to help translate the insights you gain in therapy into real, daily routines.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are your offices located?

I offer two physical locations: 1627 K St NW in Washington, DC (next to Farragut Square, where parking spots are limited) and 1501 Langston Blvd in Rosslyn, Arlington, VA (right off the Rosslyn Metro stop and just across Key Bridge from DC, with both free street parking and an attached parking garage).

Can I switch between locations or virtual sessions?

Yes. Many clients choose either DC or Rosslyn as their primary location and occasionally transition to virtual sessions when their schedule gets busy. (Please note that due to state licensing requirements, virtual sessions can only be held when you are physically located within Washington, DC or Virginia).
