My goal as a public speaker is to inspire an audience, advocate for current ideas, and communicate as a leader. I choose my words carefully, such that they are both accurate in describing the purpose, function, and reasoning of the message, and also so the audience can fully appreciate the impact of what is being proposed. Speaking event for approximately 1,500 in attendance. I spoke on the topic of post-traumatic stress disorder and the rehabilitating effects of self-care. Presented real-life applications of current findings on mental health as it relates to individuals with depression.
